Christopher Bowlin, DPM
Podiatry, Foot & Ankle Repair and Reconstruction
Dr. Chris Bowlin is an East Tennessee native and founder of Faculty Physicians. He completed his professional training at the University of Louisville, a level 1 trauma center, with a 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Certification. His straightforward treatment philosophy is centered around the comprehensive foot and ankle care and evidence-based medicine. He specializes in limb salvage, deformity correction, diabetic foot care, Charcot foot, and lower extremity wound care. Additionally, he started Surgical Wound Care Associates, Tennessee (SWCA-TN) after recognizing a growing need for surgical wound care within his own podiatry practice. His goal is to improve all patients’ quality of life from a podiatric perspective. He enjoys traveling and being active outdoors.

Phillip Hasler
DPM, Podiatry Foot and Ankle
Dr. Phillip Hasler completed a three-year surgical residency at the Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Des Moines University for medical school and has been in practice since 2013. Prior to joining Faculty Physicians, he worked at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Dr Hasler specializes in general podiatry. He is a very dedicated clinician who finds great joy in helping patients stay active and on their feet. Dr. Hasler will be practicing in our Knoxville office and is accepting new patients.
Ethan Haynes, C.Ped
Orthotics and Pedorthics
Ethan Haynes is a Certified and Licensed Pedorthist, originally from Somerset, KY. He received his education from St. Petersburg College of Technology. Prior to joining Faculty Physicians Knoxville, he worked at a sports medicine practice where he gained extensive experience as a pedorthist with a deep understanding of lower extremity biomechanics. He specializes in assessing the arthrokinematics of the foot and ankle, as well as using fabricated and prefabricating custom foot orthosis to correct and accommodate various foot and ankle deformities. Additionally, he also specializes in limb salvage durable medical equipment (DME), working closely with podiatry and orthopedic specialties. Outside of work, Ethan enjoys high-adrenaline activities, such as rock climbing and riding his dirt bike.

Kyler Dalton, PA-C
Physician Assistant, Podiatry
Kyler Dalton is a certified Physician Assistant. He graduated from Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, OH. After working in regenerative medicine and orthopedics, he joined the Faculty Physicians Knoxville team to specialize in podiatric medicine. He enjoys working in foot and ankle medicine, especially after experiencing two metatarsal fractures himself that was surgically corrected. In his free time, Kyler enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling with his two dogs. When the weather is nice, he enjoys long motorcycle rides. Football is his favorite pastime.

Rachel Holloway, PA-C
Physician Assistant, Podiatry
Rachel Holloway is a certified physician assistant who attended Lincoln Memorial University School of Medical Sciences and graduated with a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is excited to be part of the Faculty Physicians Knoxville podiatry team and is passionate about establishing trusting relationships with her patients. LaFollette, TN has always been her home and she enjoys exploring the beauty of the East Tennessee mountains, studying medicine, and providing the best possible care to her patients.

Daniel Johnson
Family Nurse Practitioner
Daniel is an advanced practice registered nurse who attended Carson-Newman College to attain his Master of Science in Nursing degree. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He began his nursing career in 2007 and has years of experience in trauma ICU. He spent the last 6 years of his nursing career as a flight nurse. He is excited to begin his new career in podiatric medicine and wound care. He wishes to continue to provide patient-focused care in order to enhance the patient's quality of life. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 wonderful boys.

Mitchell Pearce, PA-C
Physician Assistant, Podiatry Joining Soon
Mitchell is a certified physician assistant who received his master's degree from Milligan University. Prior to this, he studied Radiology at East Tennessee State University. Mitchell brings with him to Faculty Physicians multiple years of experience in primary care, which he can use to provide patients with long-lasting and meaningful care. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Knoxville with his wife and two dogs.
Michell will be joining our Knoxville Office as a full time PA-C in Podiatry and Wound care starting summer 2024.
